Wings Cafe and the former owner of the Macon nightclub have reached a settlement with the widow of a man killed in a December 2014 shootout on the premises.

The confidential settlement was filed in Bibb County State Court last month, according to the attorney representing the 38-year-old’s widow.

The widow filed a $1.1 million wrongful death suit against the club and its owner in January.

She alleged the club and its owner were negligent in not providing better security.

The 38-year-old was one of three people killed in the gunfight. A 25-year-old and a 34-year-old were also killed in what police have described as an exchange of gunfire between two rival gangs. Four people were wounded.

The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for the suspect from the shooting. The suspect’s name is Tavarus Coney and he is being charged with murder, aggravated assault and gang activity. The reward is in addition to a $1,000 reward offered by local law enforcement.
