How Do I Choose a Lawyer?

Macon Personal Injury Attorney Explains How to Find a Specialist in Trucking Litigation

>Not all lawyers are equal. It can be difficult amidst all of the television ads and billboards you see to know who to call when you have been injured in a trucking accident or have suffered from medical malpractice. It is important to choose an attorney based on his or her qualifications and experience in litigation and the track record of successful verdicts and settlements obtained for clients. In this video, Macon personal injury lawyer Kathy McArthur explains how being board-certified as a specialist sets her apart from other injury attorneys. Our attorneys have seen the devastating injuries that come from truck accidents and medical malpractice. That is why we know that victims of personal injury deserve to have the strongest possible ally in their corner to fight for recovery.

People don’t understand that all lawyers aren’t the same and there are so many advertising lawyers now that advertise “one call, that’s all” or “I can get you more money” and it’s just not true. They end up hiring a lawyer who is not a specialist, who doesn’t do this work regularly, so there are very few board-certified civil trial lawyers, and I am board-certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the NBOTA. I took my board certification exams at least 15 years ago, maybe 20 years ago when it was just brand new and nobody did it. What it means is you can say I specialize in trucking litigation, wrecks caused by tractor trailers. I’ve had a lot of big verdicts in both truck wreck cases and in medical malpractice cases. People need to look to the qualifications and experience of the attorney that they’re talking to. At the McArthur Law Firm, our job is to fight for you to make sure you get justice and reasonable compensation for your injuries. To get in touch with us, call 1-888-WE-FIGHT or go to our website,
