Is There a Support Group for Pedestrian Accident Victims?

The Macon-Bibb Pedestrian Safety Review Board recently announced that it wants to create a support group for families impacted by pedestrian fatalities. The group voted on May 16 to recommend to commissioners to approve the initiative. The friends and relatives of those killed in pedestrian accidents are not often thought of, according to board member Violet Poe. This support group would provide counseling as well as connect those who have lost loved ones to others who are going through the same thing in hopes of promoting healing. Macon-Bibb Pushes Pedestrian Safety The support group initiative is just one of many avenues that the Pedestrian Safety Review Board has tackled recently to reduce the rate of pedestrian accidents.
