The staff of our personal injury law firm is the backbone of the office. Many staff members have been with the McArthur Law Firm for a number of years, and our Georgia personal injury lawyers could not operate at such a high level of professionalism without their dedication and experience.

Amber attended Georgia Military College and Macon State University with studies in Business Management. She has worked in the legal arena for 7 years at both plaintiff and defense firms in a variety of fields: real estate, tax & wealth planning, probate, corporate, personal injury, unemployment and medical malpractice. Amber has been with the McArthur Law firm since February of 2015 and her defense background gives her a better understanding of and a unique perspective into the litigation process. She is currently a personal injury paralegal to Attorney Jessica A. Edmonds.
Amber is recently married and has one stepson. She and her family enjoy outings on their boat, fishing and hunting. In Amber’s quiet time, she loves to read.
Elaine Register was born and raised in Thomson, Georgia, and attended both Georgia Southern and Augusta State universities. After relocating to Macon in 1987, she began working with Kathy McArthur in 1988 as a paralegal specializing in the practice of workers compensation law. She monitors and actively works more than 100 cases.
Elaine is dedicated to her job and feels a great sense of satisfaction in assisting clients through the difficult workers compensation process. As a result of her 27 years of experience, Elaine provides invaluable legal support in the workers compensation department and is highly regarded and respected not only by her clients, but also by defense attorneys throughout Georgia.
Elaine is married and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and watching college football.
Jessica Peed has been with the McArthur Law Firm since August 2009.
She is one of three personal injury paralegals and enjoys learning more about the intricate details of her field with each new client. Jessica graduated number one in her class at Jones County High School in 2005.
In May 2009, Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in political science and women’s and gender studies from Mercer University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She has a master’s degree in public administration from Georgia College & State University.
Jessica and her husband, Joel, have one son and a sibling on the way.
Margie was a self-employed medical transcriptionist for 10 years prior to joining the firm in November 2010.
She is a legal assistant in the medical malpractice department, performing all administrative duties and drawing on her extensive medical knowledge and previous experience.
Marna was born in Hialeah, Florida, and raised in Ocala. She is a 1979 graduate of Casa Roble High School in Sacramento, California. Marna worked in the banking industry for seven years and the dental field for eight years and has been in the legal field since July 2007. Marna has two children and is known for being very personable and professional in her duties.
Her duties at the McArthur Law Firm include greeting clients, attorneys and all visitors as they enter the office; answering high volumes of incoming calls; requesting and tracking medical records; and sending out notice letters as required.
Pam Godfrey has more than 16 years of experience in the legal field. She began her career with Kathy McArthur in the early 1990s as a legal secretary and later became a personal injury paralegal. Pamela went on to work with other Macon and Atlanta firms in various legal areas, including insurance defense, family law and municipal/governmental law. She returned to Macon in 2009, resuming work for Ms. McArthur. Since that time, her primary focus has been medical malpractice work.
Pam is compassionate and empathetic with her clients and considers it an honor to work with them through such difficult times. Clients appreciate her genuine concern, care and attention to the details of their cases. Pam earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Gordon College in 1987 and a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Macon State College in 2000.
Samantha was born in Riverdale, Georgia, and grew up in Stockbridge. Following the completion of her formal education, Samantha worked in both customer service and sales industries before joining the workers’ compensation field. With four years of experience in the field, Samantha joined the McArthur Law Firm in the fall of 2007.
In her current position, Samantha serves as a liaison between clients, physicians, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters and paralegals and attorneys within this firm. Her twelve years of workers compensation experience coupled with her natural ability to listen to, care for and problem-solve with clients make her an invaluable team member in the workers compensation department.
Samantha is married with five children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, road trips and long weekends at Lake Jackson.
Sara Lankford was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and moved to Macon in 2009 to pursue a college degree in Psychology, Women’s Gender Studies and Business Administration. Sara joined the McArthur Law Firm in 2014 as a personal injury legal assistant. After completing her Master’s in Business Administration from Mercer University she was promoted to Office Administrator. As Office Administrator, Sara has a myriad of responsibilities including but not limited to, accounts receivables/payables, human resource management and employee benefit management.
Sara is married and she and her husband have five rescue animals: two cats and three dogs. In addition to rescuing animals in need, Sara enjoys hiking, singing and spending time with her family.
Sheila was born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Warner Robins. She graduated with honors from Northside High School in Warner Robins in June 1973. She was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) while in high school. After graduation, she attended Crandall Business College in Macon and Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a legal secretary for 35 years and has worked with Kathy McArthur since 1989.
Sheila serves as the administrative assistant at the McArthur Law Firm and her job duties include opening and cataloging all mail, creating and distributing all tickers (legal deadlines and reminders) appointment/deposition scheduling, litigation document drafting, communicating with trial courts, maintaining accounts receivable and payable, processing mail as well as transcribing recorded statements and dictation.
Tim joined the firm in February 2011 as a courier and accounts payable assistant. He also performs wreck investigations and takes witness statements.
Prior to that time, he had worked 12 years in inventory management in the metro Atlanta area. Tim was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in the Bahamas.
He is married to Pamela Godfrey and they have one daughter.
Tory Johnson joined the McArthur Law Firm in January 2012 as a legal assistant. Tory supports our team of personal injury attorneys and paralegals to help our clients get the compensation they deserve.
Working closely with Caleb Walker and Candace Carter-Smith, she helps keep clients’ files up to date and organized. Tory was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class at Jones County High School in Gray, GA. Tory graduated from Mercer University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in theater and a 4.0 GPA.
